The ER is the first place that I've ever worked where there are always people bringing in food to share. Whether it is for a potluck or donated baked goods that are too old to sell from the coffee shop or somebody has some extra food at home. As a given, if people leave foods out in specific areas,
it is an assumption that the food is there for the taking. One day I walked into the break room and saw this lovely little pie. From what I could tell, this was a strawberry raspberry pie. It was a wonderful surprise. Thank you, mystery donor.
